Venus Retrogrades & Chiron Goes Direct

Just hours after the Full Moon in Gemini peaks, we have Venus - The Goddess of love, worth, value, and pleasure - going into the underworld as she goes retrograde. We’ll spend the next 40 days reviewing our shadow and reanalyzing our own self love and worth. We’ll strip ourselves of our ego and get real with what no longer makes us happy, what’s (or who) is no longer worth our time, energy, and effort, and humble ourselves where we’ve been doing ourselves a disservice by holding onto elements of the past.

Venus is in Capricorn - ruling over karma, power, authority, and long term foundations. She is getting down to the bare basics on where she needs to boss up and bring new elements and foundations to life to support her long term growth and goals. But first - we need to remove elements we’re no longer aligned with to make space for the new to be built.

Venus has been working with Pluto - the God of the Underworld, the great destroyer and ruler over transformation - to totally dissolve and put a death to elements connecting us to past pain and trauma to transform ourselves into the powerful creators we are.

We will see relationships either deepen in commitment or totally fall apart and be destroyed, money matters be shook up to reveal new skills and talents we can use, and new karmic cycles prepare for beginnings while we clear away our self worth issues holding us back from truly aligning with our happiness and receiving what we deserve.

Hours after Venus moves inward, Chiron - the wounded healer planetoid - will go direct in Aries after a 5 month retrograde. Chiron went retrograde back in July forcing us to reflect back on all of our wounds. Most of these wounds involved the trauma to our ego and identity, revealing where it is we needed more independence and freedom. We don’t want to feel held back or restricted in any way now, especially if those restrictions were placed on us, BY us.

Because Chiron will be staying in Aries until 2027, we are going to experience many opportunities to break free from areas of our lives that we have been feeling held back. When Chiron was retrograde, we moved inside of ourselves to encounter these pains. Now that Chiron is going direct again, we can start experimenting with ways to heal ourselves and reprogram some of the thoughts we’ve carried into our adult hoods from our childhood.

A lot of people are recognizing their worth wounds. Feeling not good enough or essentially worthless. Now with Chiron direct, we are feeling the strength within to raise our vibration, strengthen our belief within ourselves, and increase our self-worth with every step forward we take. We are done living in the shadows and have no more time or energy to put into playing small.

This energy influence will help us to stand up for ourselves and take the leadership role of transforming our worthlessness into something so substantial that we will never be able to not see the value within ourselves ever again.

Venus in Scorpio

Venus, the Goddess of love, beauty, and self-worth is now moving from her place of power and comfort in Libra into the deep, dark, and sexual waters of Scorpio. Venus isn’t very comfortable in Scorpio as she’d rather keep things light and fluffy.

The intensity in relationships reaches new highs, while our wounds from relationships highlight our lows. We become more fierce in love and pursue our deepest desires with an unbridled passion. Things can get hot and steamy while Venus is in Scorpio. This is a time when new relationships can begin and reach levels of intimacy quickly, while other existing relationships may do the same or fall apart all together.

If there are any lies, betrayals or deceptions in existing relationships it will definitely be highlighted under this energy. We can obsess over our relationships, desires, and even our goals that we want to manifest. We have to watch out for the darker emotions to rise up while Venus is in Scorpio, as the scorpio energy wants to illuminate all that is hidden. There is a great transformative energy in scorpio’s waters, especially emotionally and psychologically.

With Venus entering into Scorpio, you can bet that things just got a bit more serious. We will find ourselves being brought back to issues that triggered us, that revealed perspectives to us that haven't sat well within. It is likely that these topics stem from the relationships that were effected during Venus' 2018 retrograde in Scorpio, and last Fall’s push to weed out toxic relationships and shadow parts of our inner realms. Now we have to figure out how to heal and integrate these revelations.

Venus in scorpio will be asking the tough questions and the answers revealed will lead you to take action. We are no longer content in relationships that aren't fair to us, are supporting and loving in the ways we need. Our souls are crying out for authenticity and for those who actually LOVE us to step up to the plate of growth and grow WITH us. Some will not accept the challenge and there will be a natural dissolving of these relationships and structures.

Now that we are in the beginning stages of the Great Awakening, we will need the right people in our corner while the soul contracts with others may be completed as we move on in different directions. Venus in Scorpio gives us another opportunity to weed out the elements of our lives that aren't going to support us in building towards a new earth.

Although you might find this energy shift hard as it tugs on those heart strings, know that anything or anybody you let go of during this time is for your highest good. As painful as it may be to recognize that the ones you love aren't the right ones to have in place in your future, you are now acting in alignment to your self-worth.

It's important to realize that the relationship with ourselves is what sets the stage in every other relationship that we have. Venus, the Goddess of love, money, beauty, pleasure, and long-term commitments moves into Libra today giving us a bit of a break as she steps into her place of power. Venus rules over both Taurus and Libra. While in Taurus, Venus is more money and “building” focused, while in Libra she is more consumed with love and finding peace and balance in all we do. While in her place of power, she is very charming, flirty, highly social, and beams with a beauty that shines very bright.

Although her main goal and focus is love and relationships, she remains very cool and detached in her quest to secure long-term relationships. She is evaluating her current positions in life in both love and money, and is truly breaking down what it is that brings her life joy and value. She is willing to compromise and negotiate more fairly under the Libra energy because her ideas of love become a bit more realistic to her compared to some of the imaginary ideals she often gets swept away in.

Heartfelt conversations will be much more easier to have as we want to establish fairness, peace, and balance in our exchanges. We are much more soft spoken and friendly while Venus is in Libra, but because we have other planetary aspects at play, we may just find ourselves having imaginary conversation in our head first.

There’s a lot of topics and themes for us to sort through. We are working on our own self worth due to our relationships showing us where we need to level ourselves up in the self confidence department.

All of the heavy hitting planets are all in retrograde right now showing us where we’ve been trying to hold onto old past patterns and behaviours. But the new energy of Uranus now retrograde (the great awakener) wants us to wake up and see where we need to monitor how we share our energy with others.

Venus in Libra will cover all the bases of worth and value within ourselves, our relationships and our money matters. There will be all kinds of new revelations that will change the course of how we value ourselves and those we choose to share our lives with.

Avoid being overly aggressive under this influence as peace and harmony are the ultimate goals. We have a tendency to gloss over some serious issues in our relationships all in attempt to not rock the boat. We have new dreams and desires we’re looking to bring to life, and Venus in Virgo will help us get organized, get our priorities straight and help us get things off the ground.

Venus focuses on who and what brings her joy, who and what she loves, and holds her values and worth of extreme importance. While She’s in Virgo we will all get down to the details of what makes our hearts tick. Virgo energy is meticulous, diving into every detail of why we think and feel the way we do. Venus Enters Pisces

Venus, the Goddess of love, beauty, and money makes her way from Aquarius into Pisces. When Venus moves into a new sign, her focus becomes fine tuned to the energetic influence of the zodiac sign she occupies. Anytime Venus is concerned our values and worth come up for review especially where our relationships, joy, and personal finances are concerned.

Venus entering into dreamy Pisces, will have us swimming in our emotions as we take a look at the current situation of our love life, the activities (chores or jobs) that bring us joy, and our personal finances. Venus loves being in Pisces because she can be as lovey-dovey as she wants and the depths in which she loves goes deep. Although the sensitive waters of Pisces make for some really beautiful moments of connection, forgiveness, and understanding, we can also get caught up in the dreaminess of it all.

Sometimes we get caught up in the illusion of being happy in our relationships, feeling like the scales are balanced, however, under this influence it's a good time to see whether we are giving more than we are getting. The energy exchange between us and those we value could be out of whack and require some boundaries to be put in place to protect yourself from giving the best parts of yourself away to other people. Pisces is deeply emotional and has a tendency to become very overwhelmed with all the feels causing them to want to retreat or escape reality all together.

It's important during this time to recognize that you are in fact wearing rose coloured glasses as you look at your love and money situations, and depending on the darkness of the shade of rose, you may be missing the details of reality altogether. Although this is a time where we'd like to get lost in fantasy land, pretending that all is well in the world, the reality is, there are a few situations that are suffering under the want, need, and desire to escape the responsibilities of life.

There are boundaries that need to be put in place and enforced, and there are scales that need to be balanced. It's okay though, if you choose to lay back and ride the sweet, dreaminess of Venus's time in Pisces, you can definitely do that, but be forewarned that when she moves into Aries, the rose coloured glass get smacked off your face leaving you in shock of all that you "thought" to be true.

Another caution I'd like to put out there, is that during this time while Venus is in Pisces, we can be feeling very lonely, isolated, and sad. Pisces is the sign that "suffers in silence". Because Venus is all up in Piscean waters wanting to be so madly in love, it can cause those in relationships who are lacking that kind of connection to be sad, feeling alone even while in a partnership.

Our wants, needs, and desires to have that undeniable connection with another person is very intense now. So if you are coupled, and not “drunk in love" this could be a very eye opening time for you. For those of you that are single, the loneliness of wanting that companionship seems too intense to hide. We may find ourselves in a pool of sadness, wondering if we will always be alone.

I extend these cautions, not to be a “Debbie Downer” but to make you aware of the different levels of experience that Venus entering into Pisces can bring. We really do have the greatest opportunities to redefine our relationships, our values, our joy, and our money. Make sure that you are reserving the best parts of yourself FOR yourself.

Venus has spent the last month in Capricorn, where she was all business reviewing her long-term commitments, relationships and values. It was all work and no play, and now that she is leaving Capricorn for Aquarius, you can be sure that she will be feeling much freer under this influence. She is now joining the Sun, mercury (who just went retrograde), Jupiter, and Saturn all in Aquarian energy.

Venus, being the Goddess of love, worth, and pleasure, wants nothing more than to feel independent while she is in Aquarius, breaking free of the tunnel vision she had in Capricorn. Aquarius is a free thinking, eccentric kind of energy teaching the Goddess how to love all the joys in life without being too overly attached.

While in Aquarius, she wants to explore her freedom. She enjoys her independence and has no problem committing or being loyal but it must be on her own terms. She becomes attracted to weird or unusual things that normally wouldn’t pique her interest. Because she’s playful and much more light-hearted than days gone by, she is exploring any new interests that captivate her and makes her think outside of the box. This could be a great time to experiment with relationships as you may find yourself attracted to someone who breaks the mould as far as being your "normal" type. Jupiter Retrogrades In Capricorn

Jupiter - the planet of growth, abundance, expansion, and spirit - goes retrograde today in Capricorn. It takes Jupiter 12 years to visit all of the signs and because of that, it’s been 12 years since Jupiter went retrograde in Capricorn. Jupiter first entered into Capricorn last December, where; with the help from Saturn and Pluto, created an absolute blimp in history with this current global pandemic.

Jupiter is big, extreme, too much, and is a whole lot of extra. His placement among the stars exaggerated and grew this global pandemic to a huge state of concern. I’m not saying it’s not a big deal, but Jupiter’s influence has a tendency to make things appear bigger than they actually are.

Saturn and Venus joined Pluto already in retrograde, this week and with mercury moving into his place of power, we are now positioned to do some deep karmic healing through the way we communicate with others.

Jupiter on its own, retrograding in Capricorn would lead us on an introverted journey of exploring our own truth and renewing our beliefs. Jupiter is the great philosopher of the zodiac is very connected to the spiritual journey we are here to have. Jupiter in Capricorn is about our roles and responsibilities in life and where we need to take the leadership role on being our own authority.

Now retrograde, we can move inside ourselves to take a good look at how far we’ve come, how we’ve even gotten here, what it is we believe in, where we’ve been living in extremes, and basically, we get down to the truth.

Mars has entered pisces blurring our vision of the future. Mars is usually very direct and straight-forward but is forced to go with the flow under this influence. This, paired with Jupiter’s retrograde in Capricorn will allow us to dig deep within ourselves to unleash our inner spiritual warrior; the version of us that picks ourselves up after we crumble to the ground. This fire energy is not only dangerous and destructive, but it holds the power to regenerate and birth a brand new belief system within ourselves

Be cautious of your self confidence while Jupiter is retrograde. We have a tendency to lose faith within ourselves because we are questioning everything and lose sight of what we know to be true. Don’t get down on yourself for too long. Take a minute when your spirits are high, to write down your big picture vision, your goal, your desired outcome. And every time you feel your hope and faith slipping you can refer back to your note to remind you of what you need to focus on.

Classically, a retrograde is a time to rewind, rest, reflect, rework, revise, re-organize and recalibrate. Because Jupiter is at play, you can expect all of those revisions to be in your own spiritual beliefs and the vision you hold for yourself.

Mars Enters Pisces

 The warrior planet Mars, full of energy, action, passion (and even anger) moves into Pisces, the wish-washy zodiac, who lives a life of dreams and fantasy. Mars is usually ready to jump in and tackle the next level of action required in life with a fiery attitude and will initiate new beginnings all in the name of moving forward. But entering into Pisces is going to slow down the eagerness of Mars, and even bring the action to a halt.It's going to be more challenging to get things started and to have the physical energy to actually charge ahead.

Pisces, the sign of the fish, is very much at home in its emotional waters, daydreaming of another world, and avoiding confrontation at all costs. The directness of Mars is going to be washed away by the Pisces energy. The straight-forwardness that you can normally expect from Mars is going to become so flighty under this Pisces energy that misunderstandings are bound to happen.

Mars being all about taking action, is going to shift that energy into more spiritual and emotionally charged pursuits. The Pisces energy will have us ebbing and flowing with the ocean of inspiration and emotional change. Just like the waves crashing upon the sand we will be experiencing the waves, their rhythm, and intensity through this transit.

During this transit, we are prone to putting other's needs before our own. We may be swayed off of the path of confidence as our goals suddenly become blurry under the water weight of Pisces. This particular shift is going to prove a bit more difficult when you consider the other shifts and aspects that are taking place during this transit.

For instance, just this week we have had Saturn and Venus join Pluto already in retrograde, mercury moving into his place of power, and Jupiter preparing to go retrograde tomorrow. Our relationships, with ourselves, our money, our loves, our family, friends, co-workers, they are getting all shook up! Many conflicts and breakups will take place during Mars’ female counterpart’s (Venus) retrograde, While we take a trip back to the past to rework some karma that requires a second look before total closure.

But now with Mars entering pisces, our feelings get blurred. Our goals are wish-washy. Our energy seems to be depleted.Mercury’s working overtime helping us to receive moments of insight and process all that we’ve learned at great speeds, while Mars will step up to be the warrior that he is, helping us push through our emotions and be the spiritual warrior we need to be.

We have some highly charged shifts taking place that will lead us into the fall A lot of the chaos 2020 has brought us will be smoothed over and cleaned up a bit as we enter into a brand new world. It has been a very intense year, and the shifts taking place are literally the beginning of the end. This year has been huge with planetary alignments we haven’t seen in hundreds of years, with retrogrades and eclipses still awaiting our divine attention.

Mars moving into Pisces will be a great time for dream work and for access your inner most self, wants needs and desires. Pisces energy is all about dreams and fantasy so definitely allow your mind to wander and explore parts within. Because Mars is challenged in this aspect, being less energetic, less focused, and less motivated, it's going to take some inner discipline to bring some of your dreams to life.

This is a great time for expression, especially where the arts are concerned. If you have a passion project, a creative urge, or an inspiration of any kind, tap into that energy and let it out. This a a great time for all authors, artists and visionaries to expand their imaginations. Because Pisces isn't an energy to do anything without a greater cause, a moment of inspiration is all you really need to activate Mars to lend you the energy, action, assertiveness and passion in order to make things happen.

As long as its an emotional and spiritual expression of yourself you shouldn't have an issue tapping into that kind of power. Please be gentle with yourself (and others) as the Mars energy could easily be expressed negatively through irritability, anxiety, and/or anger. It's up to you to find healthy ways to exert this energy to do you best to remain balanced.

Venus Retrogrades In Gemini

Venus - the Goddess of love, beauty, money, pleasure, and joy - is retrograding in Gemini today. Venus has been in Gemini for a while now, creating a emotionally detached, air of curiosity in our relationships and values. Venus isn’t at her strongest point here in Gemini, and although it’s good to let your hair down and not take things so seriously, now retrograding in Gemini will make some topics and themes much harder to avoid.

Any time a planet goes retrograde (appearing like it is going backwards in its orbit) we get to shift our attention inward to revise and realign our hearts and our heads from all of the activities that have taken place in our outer worlds. Because Venus is focused on love, money, and values, the mental activity of processing our current situation and having some deep conversations about these topics and themes get activated under the retrograde energy.

Venus retrograding in gemini may have old friends and exes reappear. This is to help you process and sort out some emotions that got repressed in order for you to close this chapter for good. If you are in a relationship you may find Venus in Gemini’s retrograde will throw you and your partner back into the past to have some hard chats about the relationship and money matters. Sure, we’ve done a great job at avoiding some painful truths, but now with all of this retrograde energy we can hide from these conversations any longer.

With all of the other elements at play, (Saturn, Pluto, already retrograde awaiting Jupiter to join them tomorrow, Mars (Venus’ male counterpart) surrendering to the emotional battle of karmic cleansing in Pisces, and Mercury (the messenger of the Universe working hard to download us with new insights to gan a bigger perspective) these next few months will definitely pull us through the ringer of emotions.

It’s not all bad though. Retrogrades are a chance for us to rebalance the scales of karma. It’s an opportunity to level up spiritual and close doors on old soul contracts and be ready for new ones to begin.

Although Venus retrograding in Gemini should be light, and fun, and fancy free, socializing and even uniting with soul family members may be desirable, but commitment is not recommended. You should definitely pay attention to who enters your life at this time (and who leaves) because it’s likely karmically connected. But hold off on making any new decisions to commit to a new path until the universe better supports it.

A word of caution though: If you are in a relationship and it’s falling apart, let it fall. This is a time where we cut away the bonds that are no longer serving us. And Venus retrograding will have us purging the people that we’ve outgrown to make space for new, more aligned energies to enter.

Venus Enters Pisces

Venus, the Goddess of love, beauty, and money makes her way from Aquarius into Pisces. When Venus moves into a new sign, her focus becomes fine tuned to the energetic influence of the zodiac sign she occupies. Anytime Venus is concerned our values and worth come up for review especially where our relationships, joy, and personal finances are concerned.

Venus entering into dreamy Pisces, will have us swimming in our emotions as we take a look at the current situation of our love life, the activities (chores or jobs) that bring us joy, and our personal finances. Venus loves being in Pisces because she can be as lovey-dovey as she wants and the depths in which she loves goes deep. Although the sensitive waters of Pisces make for some really beautiful moments of connection, forgiveness, and understanding, we can also get caught up in the dreaminess of it all.

Sometimes we get caught up in the illusion of being happy in our relationships, feeling like the scales are balanced, however, under this influence it's a good time to see whether we are giving more than we are getting. The energy exchange between us and those we value could be out of whack and require some boundaries to be put in place to protect yourself from giving the best parts of yourself away to other people. Pisces is deeply emotional and has a tendency to become very overwhelmed with all the feels causing them to want to retreat or escape reality all together.

It's important during this time to recognize that you are in fact wearing rose coloured glasses as you look at your love and money situations, and depending on the darkness of the shade of rose, you may be missing the details of reality altogether. Although this is a time where we'd like to get lost in fantasy land, pretending that all is well in the world, the reality is, there are a few situations that are suffering under the want, need, and desire to escape the responsibilities of life.

There are boundaries that need to be put in place and enforced, and there are scales that need to be balanced. It's okay though, if you choose to lay back and ride the sweet, dreaminess of Venus's time in Pisces, you can definitely do that, but be forewarned that when she moves into Aries, the rose coloured glass get smacked off your face leaving you in shock of all that you "thought" to be true.

Another caution I'd like to put out there, is that during this time while Venus is in Pisces, we can be feeling very lonely, isolated, and sad. Pisces is the sign that "suffers in silence". Because Venus is all up in Piscean waters wanting to be so madly in love, it can cause those in relationships who are lacking that kind of connection to be sad, feeling alone even while in a partnership.

Our wants, needs, and desires to have that undeniable connection with another person is very intense now. So if you are coupled, and not “drunk in love" this could be a very eye opening time for you. For those of you that are single, the loneliness of wanting that companionship seems too intense to hide. We may find ourselves in a pool of sadness, wondering if we will always be alone.

I extend these cautions, not to be a “Debbie Downer” but to make you aware of the different levels of experience that Venus entering into Pisces can bring. We really do have the greatest opportunities to redefine our relationships, our values, our joy, and our money. Make sure that you are reserving the best parts of yourself FOR yourself.

You need to be honest in deciphering whether you are giving too much of yourself to people, jobs, or tasks that aren't filling up your Soul cup. Or, like I said, we do have the option to totally surrender to this energetic influence and really tap into the lovey-dovey feels of it all and ride the wave until reality wakes us up out of our slumber.

Venus Enters Aquarius

Venus has spent the last month in Capricorn, where she was all business reviewing her long-term commitments, relationships and values. It was all work and no play, and now that she is leaving Capricorn for Aquarius, you can be sure that she will be feeling much freer under this influence.

Venus, being the Goddess of love and beauty, wants nothing more than to feel independent while she is in Aquarius, breaking free of the tunnel vision she had in Capricorn. Aquarius is a free thinking, eccentric kind of energy teaching the Goddess how to love without being too overly attached.

While in Aquarius, she wants to explore her freedom while still being in love. She enjoys her freedom and has no problem committing or being loyal but it must be on her own terms. This could be a great time to experiment with relationships as you may find yourself attracted to someone who breaks the mould as far as being your "normal" type. The playfulness and airiness of Aquarius can be a lot of fun to casually get involved with someone without any strings attached. In fact, that's how a real true love can blossom!

The importance for establishing a friendship among lovers is important under this influence, and regardless of how long the relationship has been going on, freedom of expression will be at an all time high. We have to be honest and truthful with ourselves and with others during this time as we put our own wants, needs and desires first.

Explore yourself during this transit and see where you are feeling trapped in your current relationships and set yourself free. The Aquarian energy will be more than supportive for those kinds of inner explorations.
