Welcome To Capricorn Season & The Solstice
It's the time of the year when the Sun moves from the bright, optimistic, adventure-seeking Sagittarian energy, to the ambitious, responsible, hard working energy of Capricorn.
It is no coincidence that the zodiac signs rule the timeframes that they do, and especially after the year we just had, we should all be really happy to be ending the year, and starting a new one, under the Capricorn Sun.
Capricorn is an earth sign and takes their roles and responsibilities in life very seriously. They are overly ambitious without getting too ahead of themselves, as they know what is actually reasonable for them to accomplish.
With Saturn, the planet of karma as their ruler, we have a tendency to reflect back on the year's events seeing exactly how each karmic lesson played out. With a reasonable approach and a down-to-earth view on life, Capricorn takes but a few minutes to compartmentalize the thoughts and feelings that each karmic lesson taught them before looking forward, setting tangible goals for the future.
Capricorn season also triggers the solstice. In the Northern hemisphere we are experiencing the winter solstice, a time of retreat where we step back to review and reflect. When we rest, recharge, and reorganize. In the southern hemisphere it triggers the summer solstice, which is a time for new sparks of life to be ignited. Where new adventures unfold and new exciting shifts take place in our realities.
Under Capricorn's energy we are able to see very clearly the steps we need to take in order to reach our goals, and easily make a check list of things we need to take care of. Where Capricorn takes their roles very seriously, especially where their career is concerned, they will do their very best to exceed the expectations set out for them.
As we venture into a new world, a new energy, a new perspective, Capricorn lends us the support to be as methodical as possible to break down each step we need to take, operating within a certain framework to reach success. When the Sun moves into Capricorn it also triggers the winter solstice for us here in the northern hemisphere, which ushers in a brand new energy to work with.
Although the holidays are a bright and cheerful time for many, the Capricorn energy still adds a serious tone of organization to our holiday season, making sure the to-do list is checked off and complete.
As we enter into a new year, there is no better energy for us to be under the influence of than Capricorn. We've spent many moons envisioning our futures, our new dreams and goals. We've had opportunities to purge the elements of our old selves and our old lives in order to be as light as ever as we walk into the new world as we know it.
Capricorn is eager to tackle the steps which are necessary to complete before arriving at the final destination, which of course is the dreams we've been working so hard on manifesting into our reality. We have a tendency to be more realistic about what we can actually accomplish within certain timeframes with this Capricorn energy, making our dreams more visible than ever before.
With the ambitious, hard-working energy of Capricorn supporting us in the early days of the New Year, we will no doubt hit the ground running, eager to get building and creating our Soul's vision.

Saturn Goes Direct in Aquarius
Today, Saturn, the Lord of Karma and ruler over structures, authority, roles and responsibilities goes goes direct in Aquarius after 5 months of being retrograde. This major, heavy-hitting planet embodies the military Grandfather energy; strict, hardworking, tough love, all about working hard and taking your time to perfect your craft, the authority figure, and delegator of life lessons.
While Saturn was retrograde we had to do the work within to recognize where old systems of beliefs, old patterns of behaviours, and old relationships and ideas were no longer strong enough to house the new dreams, visions, and goals, we now have. Retrograde season is a time to reflect, revisit, revise, and review our lives to cut out anything that is not helping us build towards our best selves.
Now that Saturn is going direct, we’'ll be able to take the energy and move it outward in our external lives making changes and taking actions that will destroy the old, free us from the past, and set us up to build some long term foundations we can actually build off of.
If you are hiding being an illusion of your life, an unauthentic mask of who you are, and holding onto old outdated beliefs and structures that aren't serving you, Saturn would have shown you what needs to be removed. There's a karmic element at play here where the old, present, and future parts of ourselves will be blended together, integrated for our highest good so that we may come out of this retrograde fast tracked onto our path forward with the karmic energy of the past having been cleared away, while we fully embrace the newly transformed self.
This particular shift out of retrograde is a game changer. We will see it play out on a global scale through the banking systems, government bodies, and religious communities as they fall, crumbling into a heap of old energy that isn't strong enough to weather our modern day storms. There is already evidence of this taking place on a global platform, and Saturn has a hand in it. We will see the rules and restrictions change once again challenging the current narrative and freeing us in a lot of the ways we’ve been feeling trapped.
This direct shift of energy is also very potent because Saturn is joining Pluto who just stepped out of retrograde as well, bringing all of the power and control issues to light. Pluto is triggering the darkest parts of ourselves, the not-so-good emotions surrounding obsession, guilt, fear, doubts, insecurities, and anger, so that we can use these darker emotions to transform them into light and take our power and control back from whatever source we’ve given it away to.
Together, and with the assistance of Jupiter and Mercury about to come out of their retrogrades - Saturn and Pluto will do a bit of re-organization and refinement. The focus of this disruption, all in divine order, is to focus on the roles and responsibilities we have in life, and to breakdown the restrictions we've been living under in order to truly live more freely in the new world we are creating.
Our foundations, global systems, and structures are outdated, and because we - as a collective - are no longer satisfied with the happenings in the world on the global platform, an uprising of humanity will assist in helping those structures crumble as we are ready to build new.
We are in the year of adjustments; building and refining the changes we’ve already made leaving the past behind and bringing new cycles to life. We can clearly see that the cornerstones of the existing foundation need to be restrengthened, re-supported, re-poured in order to be structurally sound.
This is Saturn, the structural engineer coming in to overlook the project, and we've received a failing grade in the past. Construction was halted to a stop and bulldozed the structure and its footings, only for us to start over and build it right from the beginning. And there's Pluto, the General Foreman of the job, irate and furious that the job is costing him money, he's insulted that his position of authority has been overruled by the engineer. This is HIS job, and HIS word goes. Jupiter going direct next week will amplify and intensify all the growth and expansion that needs to take place in order to get the project back on track. While Mercury’s retrograde has us revisiting old ideas and choices that may flip the script of our overall big picture vision.
Saturn is obsessed, trying to hold onto any inch of the job he can save, not realizing that his need to control the situation when it's in the best interest of the future population that will house this structure, preventing what will be a huge, tragic disaster, where the structure could fall, endangering people's lives, is holding up the path of moving forward. He needs to stop, put himself in time out, and realize that he is wasting precious time and energy trying to protect and save something that is beyond repair. His only option now is to harness the power of his anger and disappointment and focus on rebuilding this project properly from the ground up.
With this shift in perspective, after surrendering to the situation that cannot be changed, he pools together his resources and gets the project on track and built the way it should have been built in the first place.
Surprisingly, the project gets completed much sooner than he had anticipated because the group of workers (humanity) all got on the same page, believed in the same goal, and together, their energy accelerated them down their projected timeline leading them into the successful completion of the project. This is a perfect example of Saturn & Pluto being direct and working together, and what we can expect over the next few months will be mind blowing once we get to look back on all the progress.
The key here, is to recognize the fight you are fighting, see the reasons of why you are trying so hard to hold onto the outdated structures in your life KNOWING that they aren’t solid or strong enough to house the new dreams you are looking to build, and refocus your power and energy to embrace the change and start building new.
This cosmic alignment has been divinely orchestrated in your favour. As the world takes steps to get back to life and create new norms, we are also going through a huge DNA upgrade as we integrate what we’ve learned into our total being. Ask yourself: Do I want to go back to what normal was? Was normal working? Where do I feel angry and frustrated? What new foundations can I build for myself? What ideas am I’m refusing to let go of? And where to I need to take my power back and stand up for myself?

Saturn Retrogrades in Aquarius
Today, Saturn, the Lord of Karma and ruler over structures, authority, roles and responsibilities goes retrograde in Aquarius. Saturn’s full retrograde cycle will take place over the next 5 months ending in October. This major, heavy-hitting planet embodies the military Grandfather energy; strict, hardworking, tough love, all about working hard and taking your time to perfect your craft, the authority figure, and delegator of life lessons, is going to take us a few steps backwards in our lives so that we can destroy anything that left that we can hide behind.
If you are hiding being an illusion of your life, an unauthentic mask of who you are, and holding onto old outdated beliefs and structures that aren't serving you, Saturn will help you see what needs to be removed. Jupiter & Saturn Conjunct
Jupiter and Saturn are sitting next to one another in the cosmos. This is called a conjunction. This is actually “The Great Conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn" because this is ushering in a brand new dawn and a brand new age.
I definitely went more in-depth into what Jupiter in Aquarius is all about what Saturn and Aquarius is all about and what the great conjunction between the two of them is all about in the December's energy forecast, but very briefly; I just want to cover a couple of areas.
Jupiter spends (about a year or so) 12 months in a sign. You're looking at about two-and-a-half to 3 years in a sign (depending on how many retrograde Saturn will go through in that particular time). Jupiter and Saturn - when we get together in the cosmos to make a conjunction - every 20 years! This is why there are multiple cycles ending and multiple Cycles ready to begin under this particular energy.
What makes matters even more interesting, is this is a 200 year cycle. Because Jupiter and Saturn in the past in the last 200 years, has only thad their great conjunction in Earth signs. Now we are in air signs. Aquarian energy is all about our all about technology all about our intellect all about our intuition is the mental plane at its highest octave having needs to come together is essentially opening the door opening the portal to the age of Aquarius. This is the new dawn. This is a new era.
We are about to enter into each one two hundred year cycle, a 20 year cycle, a 12-month cycle, and a two and a half to three year cycle, of brand new spanking energy that we haven't experienced in this way before. Jupiter and Saturn in this particular position is replicating what's talked about in the Bible of seeing the Star of Bethlehem. The Star of Bethlehem was once thought of being its own star and now we are realized it was actually Jupiter and Saturn being so close together in the cosmos that illuminated a star bright, star light quality in the sky.
I don't know if you've been out looking in the sky at the dawn or at the peak of the night, but you can visually see Jupiter and Saturn getting closer and closer together in our night sky. If you haven't been outdoors to check this out, I would definitely recommend you do it! This isn't Fufu. This isn't just astrology, this is astronomy! This is science! This is amazing! This is something that we will not see again in our lifetime.

This year, Capricorn season - and the solstice - is even MORE spectacular, because we are witnessing a once in a lifetime event with Jupiter and Saturn making their great conjunction. This astrological event is BIG TIME news for many reasons. We are ushering in a new age of life, a new cycle of humanity’s evolution, and a new chapter of energy initiating 12, 20, 800, and 23,000 year cycles! It’s BIG deal!
Under Capricorn's energy we are able to see very clearly the steps we need to take in order to reach our goals, and easily make a check list of things we need to take care of. Jupiter Enters Aquarius
Today, Jupiter - the planet of growth, expansion, abundance, optimism and positivity - moves out of the heavy and earthy sign of Capricorn, and moves into the airy energy of Aquarius. Jupiter spends approximately a year in each sign and spent 2020 teamed up with Saturn and Pluto to magnify the damage and destruction that was necessary to level the playing field of the old paradigm. Jupiter usually brings great positivity and optimism, but when weighted down by other heavy hitting planets like Saturn and Pluto, we really didn’t see the beauty that Jupiter is all about over this past year.
To continue this week’s season finale of the great awakening, today’s energy shift will be felt mostly in our mental planes. We move from the heavy earth energy that was mostly focused on our material and physical realm, to entering into Aquarius where we will grow past our old set of beliefs, break the barriers and limitations of our mind to expand past our current awareness and consciousness, to dive into a brand new world.
The last time Jupiter was in Aquarius was in 2009. If you can rewind to that timeframe you will notice how you were encouraged to grow and expand in that year, diving into new territory and explore a new set a beliefs. Depending on where Jupiter is transiting your birth chart, you will see a huge growth and expansion in this area of your life. Collectively we will see a huge push forward in areas of humanitarian efforts, medicine and technology, communities both big and small, and a great awareness and understanding of what we need to heal as a collective.
The energy will feel lighter and more future focused as we elevate our mental planes to a new level of intelligence, solving one problem at a time. The more important energetic shift is coming on the 21st, when Saturn - already in Aquarius - and Jupiter align with one another in the cosmos creating the great conjunction. This shifts us into a brand new cycle.
Jupiter and Saturn only meet up with one another in the cosmos every 20 years, but this event is far more significant ending a 200 year cycle in earth signs now that we attempt to balance the karmic scales of the collective and move into air territory. We have been too focused on the material and physical realm over the last 200 years. We have taken things to the extreme. Now, in air signs, these heavy hitting planets will help us to bring our divine intelligence into play to help us solve some worldly problems that have been ignored for far too long.
You should already be feeling the energy shift of these major heavy hitting planets preparing us for a brand new world. The energy will intensify as we near the 21st, and things will feel much more intense and slightly chaotic until we adapt to this new energy. Aquarius energy is ruled over by Uranus which is the planet of awakening through sudden shock and awe. We need to be prepared to fly by the seat of our pants as we enter into the new dawn of the age of Aquarius.

Saturn Enters Aquarius
Today we have a MAJOR astrology event taking place that is going to go down in history as the great shift of our times. Saturn, the great lord of karma, the ruler over structures and systems, is now moving from its place of power in Capricorn, to it’s second home in Aquarius. Saturn moved into Aquarius back in March but since then retrograded and moved back into its place of power in Capricorn.
Saturn is not a fun energy. It rules over hard work, hard life lessons, and self discipline. It represents the systems and structures we have in society and in our own personal lives. I often refer to Saturn as the military grandfather of the zodiac - very cold and rigid as he barks orders from his role of authority. Saturn and Pluto (ruler of destruction, transformation, and rebirth) are the duo responsible for the crumbling of the systems and structures we are currently experiencing and will continue to show us the hard life lessons we must overcome as we close out 2020. Jupiter - the great magnifier - has been with Saturn & Pluto this year turning up the volume on the amount of damage and destruction they’ve created.
Back in January, there was a historical astrological event between Saturn, Jupiter, and Pluto triggering the potential war talks, the divide among humanity, the riots, and of course, the corona virus. (Listen to the podcast episode here). As these heavy hitting planets have been in Capricorn (business, government, and roles of authority) for quite some time now, we are definitely seeing the results of their encounter worldwide.
Saturn, now ready to make the jump from earthy Capricorn (consumerism, material values, hierarchies) to airy Aquarius (intellect, information, collaboration) - FOR GOOD - will literally be the turning point of our history. This particular cosmic event takes place days before the Sun reaches the Galactic Center, before Jupiter joins Saturn in Aquarius, and before they team up and have the great conjunction that will shift us into a brand new age. This historic event will trigger a restructuring and a reorganization of our world. The systems and structures we’ve had in place are no longer in alignment with the vibration of the collective consciousness. We have seen traditional roles of our government, banking systems, economy, health care, politicians and celebrities crumble.
This, although extremely painful and chaotic to live through, is a much needed turn of events to revolutionize society, to focus more on the health and well being and value of human lives, animals, and nature over the capitalist idea of making a dollar. We could not continue on that path. Now, with Saturn entering into the humanitarian sign of Aquarius, we will see breakthrough take place in our medical, scientific and technology sectors to push us into a brand new age.
We must return back to basics using this energy in pioneering and innovating for the future. We had to get rid of all the old systems and structures that were more focused on consumerism and making a dollar versus taking care of life and the world around us like we are about to do.
Saturn moving into Aquarius will shift us out of our comfort zones of sticking to what is familiar even though it doesn’t feel good, and now support us is creating a world that will encourage and support humanitarian efforts. This is where the global collective comes together to unify the worlds resources and cherish the human experience above all else.
This is a time where we create a new earth. Where we keep the collective’s health and well being at the top of the list of priorities, and where we suddenly see how to put the pieces back together in a much more functional way.
We are definitely living in unprecedented times, and although things may seem a bit crazy in the world right now, it is absolutely necessary to breakdown before we break through. The chaos isn’t quite finished yet, as the major heavy hitting planets are still very much flexing their powers globally in the government and financial sectors. We will have to focus very hard on the world we would like to live in to make sure the global collective is at the right vibration for new earth to emerge.

Saturn Goes Retrograde
Today, Saturn, the Lord of Karma and ruler over structures, authority, roles and responsibilities goes retrograde in Aquarius before sneaking back into its place of power in Capricorn. Saturn’s full retrograde cycle will take place over the next 4 months ending on September 29, 2020.
There's a karmic element at play here where the old, present, and future parts of ourselves will be blended together, integrated for our highest good so that we may come out of this retrograde fast tracked onto our path forward with the karmic energy of the past having been cleared away, while we fully embrace the newly transformed self.
This particular retrograde is a life changer. We will see it play out on a global scale through the banking systems, government bodies, and religious communities as they fall, crumbling into a heap of old energy that isn't strong enough to weather our modern day storms. There is already evidence of this taking place on a global platform, and Saturn has a hand in it.
This retrograde is also very potent because Saturn is joining Pluto in Retrograde in Capricorn as well, bringing all of the power and control issues to light. Pluto is triggering the darkest parts of ourselves, the not-so-good emotions surrounding obsession, guilt, fear, doubts, insecurities, and anger, so that we can use these darker emotions to transform them into light.
Together, and with the assistance of both Jupiter and Venus about to join them in retrograde - Saturn and Pluto will do a retrograde dance over the next 4.5 - 5 months causing all of our lives a bit of re-organization and refinement. Because this is taking place in Capricorn (Saturn will re-enter Capricorn on July 1st), the focus of this disruption, all in divine order, is to focus on the roles and responsibilities we have in life, and to breakdown the restrictions we've been living under in order to truly live more freely in the new world we are creating.
Our foundations, global systems, and structures are outdated, and because we - as a collective - are no longer satisfied with the happenings in the world on the global platform, an uprising of humanity will assist in helping those structures crumble as we are ready to build new.
We are in the year of building, the year of creation, but there are safety and financial concerns building a new structure on a foundation that isn't strong enough to withhold the new design. With this visual, we can clearly see that the cornerstones of the existing foundation need to be restrengthened, re-supported, re-poured in order to be structurally sound.
This is Saturn, the structural engineer coming in to overlook the project, and we've received a failing grade. Construction is halted to a stop so we can bulldoze the structure and its footings, only to start over and build it right from the beginning. And there's Pluto, the General Foreman of the job, irate and furious that the job is costing him money, he's insulted that his position of authority has been overruled by the engineer. This is HIS job, and HIS word goes. Jupiter going retrograde will amplify and intensify all the growth and expansion that needs to take place in order to get the project back on track. While Venus retrograde will have us revisiting old ideas and associates to put an emphasis of the value being constructed.
With this shift in perspective, after surrendering to the situation that cannot be changed, he pools together his resources and gets the project on track and built the way the engineer suggested in the first place.
Surprisingly, the project gets completed much sooner than he had anticipated because the group of workers all got on the same page, believed in the same goal, and together, their energy accelerated them down their projected timeline leading them into the successful completion of the project. This is a perfect example of Saturn, Pluto & Jupiter being retrograde in Capricorn, and what we can expect over the next few months.
The key here, is to surrender. Recognize the fight you are fighting, see the reasons of why you are trying so hard to hold onto the outdated structures in your life KNOWING that they aren’t solid or strong enough to house the new dreams you are looking to build, and refocus your power and energy to embrace the change and start building new.
The major of the heavy hitting planets have been grouped together very tightly in the cosmos creating chaos in the world, and since Saturn reached its 29th degree of Capricorn (a crisis point) we have seen the damage and destruction of this energy spread like wild fire. Saturn moved into it’s 29th degree on the wee hours of March 10th - just after the full super moon in virgo (health/wellness/crisis) but also when mercury (the messenger of the gods ruling over the mental plane) came out of its retrograde and went direct in Aquarius.
Saturn, now ready to make the jump from earthy Capricorn (consumerism, material values, hierarchies) to airy Aquarius (intellect, information, collaboration) will literally be the turning point of our history. This particular cosmic event will trigger a restructuring and a reorganization of our world.
Saturn will be moving into Aquarius for only 3 months before it will retrograde back into Capricorn. What we experience over the next 3 months will give us a good idea of what’s to come for our global community over the next 2 - 3 years. We will have amazing breakthroughs take place that will help us overcome the current global crisis and handle future events with more humane systematic controls then what we’ve currently been implementing.
This is a time where we create a new earth. Where we keep the collective’s health and well being at the top of the list of priorities, and where we suddenly see how to put the pieces back together in a much more functional way.
Once Saturn retrogrades back into Capricorn, we will see an emergence of tension to test the structures we discovered while Saturn is in Aquarius. This will help us iron out the bugs and refine the details to get fully prepared for the revolution of humanity once Saturn re-enters Aquarius in December. where it will stay for the next 2-3 years.

Today, Saturn, the Lord of Karma and ruler over structures, authority, roles and responsibilities goes retrograde in Capricorn until September 18th, 2019. This major, heavy-hitting planet embodies the Grandfather energy; strict, hardworking, tough love, all about working hard and taking your time to perfect your craft, the authority figure, and delegator of life lessons, is going to take us a few steps backwards in our lives so that we can destroy anything that left that we can hide behind.
If you are hiding being an illusion of your life, an unauthentic mask of who you are, and holding onto old outdated beliefs and structures that aren't serving you, Saturn will help you see what needs to be removed.
Together, Saturn and Pluto will do a retrograde dance over the next 4.5 - 5 months causing all of our lives a bit of re-organization and refinement. Because this is taking place in Capricorn, the focus of this disruption, all in divine order, is to focus on the roles and responsibilities we have in life, and to breakdown the restrictions we've been living under in order to truly live more freely in the new world we are creating.
Now he is obsessed, trying to hold onto any inch of the job he can save, not realizing that his need to control the situation when it's in the best interest of the future population that will house this structure, preventing what will be a huge, tragic disaster, where the structure could fall, endangering people's lives, is holding up the path of moving forward. He needs to stop, put himself in time out, and realize that he is wasting precious time and energy trying to protect and save something that is beyond repair. His only option now is to harness the power of his anger and disappointment and focus on rebuilding this project properly from the ground up.
This is a perfect example of Saturn and Pluto being retrograde in Capricorn, and what we can expect over the next few months.

New Moon In Pisces
The New Moon in Pisces takes place today granting us an unbelievable magical opportunity to really trigger the karmic events in bringing our inner dreams to the outer world. This is by far the most potent New Moon we will have this year as there are major aspects taking place with several major heavy-hitter planets.
For starters, a New Moon is a powerful time to be inviting in new energy to help us evolve and further us on our spiritual path. Because this is taking place in Pisces, the sign of the dreamer, you can expect our unconscious selves and our intuition to be connecting to the Universe at an all time high.
We had Mercury (the planet of intellect, information, and communication) go retrograde in Pisces yesterday, making us move inward as we explore how we are communicating with our inner selves, our intuitions and the Universe as we connect back to source. Having mercury retrograde in Pisces, will have us quickly looking back on how far we’ve come and take stock on where it is we still want to go.
Neptune, (Pisces ruler), is currently in the sign of Pisces (its home and comfort zone) making it act at its most potent energy, influencing our dreams and unconscious desires. Our faith in ourselves, in our intuition, and in the Universe, is at its peak now, urging us to take that leap of faith required to really put ourselves out there in the world to get into position to start seeing our inner dreams start showing up in our external realities.
The New Moon in Pisces is creating a slight tension with Jupiter in Sagittarius. With this aspect, it is just enough applied pressure on us to really be wanting to expand our horizons and go after our truths.
The New Moon is also harmonizing with Mars in Taurus, which triggers our drive and passion to really get out in the world and be seen from a different perspective. This aspect is having us do whatever we need to do in order to level up our personal finances, to better our material wealth and possessions, and to step up our productivity in our work to hit that next level of success.
As Chiron is already in Aries, pushing us to claim who we really are in the world and to come out of hiding, Mars will give us that “kick in the ass” we need to truly step into the light from our dark comfort zones.
Luckily, we can pause all the dreaminess going on to check into reality with Saturn in Capricorn. This aspect is making sure we test the strength of the foundations under us to make sure we aren’t getting carried away with ourselves and that the steps we are being urged to take are the right ones for us. We don’t want to underestimate our footings at this time and find ourselves stepping into a sink hole.
Uranus, the planet of sudden changes, unexpected opportunities, rebellion, freedom, and revolution, makes its move into Taurus today setting a brand new energy cycle for us over the next 7 years. This is no joke. Because this happens on the same day as our New Moon in Pisces, you can expect for our judgement to be slightly off and that there will be a lack of clarity until this energy gets a chance to stabilize. This will influence the leap of faith we are making during this energy be focused on where we need to land on the other side of this gap to fully embrace our new path as we set out on a quest for revitalizing the way we work, and how we acquire money and possessions.
As you can see, this New Moon is jam packed with astrological magic as we embark on a journey that we have no map for. Trusting ourselves, our intuition and the Universe is the only choice we have at this point. The more we try to hang on to old structures, habits, and beliefs, the more we try to control the events taking place and the path forward, the more difficulties we will find ourselves in. The only way out of this energy with success and with ease is to fully surrender to life and deal with whatever comes up for you with fluidity.
Going with the flow is your best bet during these times. It is better to roll than to be dragged.
