On the same day that Mercury goes retrograde, Mars, - the God of war, ruling over our physical energy, drive, passion, and even anger - is moving from its exploration of information and experience in Sagittarius, to the steady, calculated, and determined energy of Capricorn.
When Mars is in Capricorn, we are very focused on our future and making the right strategic and calculated steps forward in our path, with a quiet determination. Our physical energy will be stable, reliable, slow and steady, which means Mars is going to get a bit more disciplined in energy management. Mars is used to fast and furious action, but while in Capricorn, each move taken to reach one’s goals and ambitions will be thought out and deliberate.
Capricorn energy isn’t in any rush, and knows that the success of the future depends on the actions taken in the present moment. This will be an amazing energy to take all we’ve learned from our spiritual and knowledge based quest while Mars was in Sagittarius, and hone in on where it is we are moving from here.
We have to be cautious that we manage this energy properly, as we have the tendency to become cold, rigid, and uncaring about relationships. We become so focused on our careers, and the path we’ve set out for ourselves to reach new levels of personal and material success that all else may fall to the wayside, hurting other people’s feelings in the process.
With the Sun in Aquarius helping us to move forward breaking free from restraints, the Full Moon in Leo blessing us to let go of our fears and insecurities of moving forward, Mars in Capricorn will be the solid confidence we need to take the next steps in the right direction.
